Sekuence Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sekuence. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sekuence mobile application (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using Sekuence, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

To use Sekuence, you must create an account using your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Description of Service

Sekuence uses artificial intelligence to analyze footage of shadowboxing and bag work you submit, providing performance metrics such as strike counts, strike volume, hand usage, and punch/kick distribution, along with audio combo coaching and periodic AI-generated coaching insights.

Sekuence is intended for training and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional coaching, medical advice, or in-person instruction.

4. User Content and Video Submissions

When you submit video footage to the App:

• The App processes your video to generate pose estimation data.
• Your original video is not stored and is discarded after processing.
• You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use the pose estimation data derived from your videos for purposes including improving and training our machine learning models, model validation, and related research and development purposes — including after you delete your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any video footage you submit, and that your submissions do not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Third-Party Services

Certain features, including periodic coaching insights, rely on third-party AI providers (including OpenAI) to process performance statistics derived from your activity. By using these features, you consent to this processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Assumption of Risk

Combat sports training carries inherent risks of physical injury. You acknowledge that you use the App and engage in any training activity at your own risk. Sekuence is not responsible for injuries sustained during training, whether or not related to your use of the App.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App’s underlying models or algorithms
• Submit content that infringes third-party rights, is unlawful, or violates the rights of any person depicted in the footage
• Interfere with the App’s operation or security

8. Account Termination and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App. Upon deletion, your name, email, athletic profile, and performance reports will be deleted, except that derived pose estimation data will be retained as described in Section 4 and our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App (excluding your submitted content) are owned by Sekuence and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our permission.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated metrics, feedback, or coaching insights. Performance analysis is provided for informational purposes and should not be treated as professional coaching or medical guidance.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sekuence and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to injury, loss of data, or loss of profits.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Sekuence is operated by an individual developer, not a registered company.
